He told me he was wearing his lucky underwear.
He always scored when he wore them.
I wanted to tell him about my lucky underwear,
I would put them on whenever I was worried I wouldn't get my period.
They had always worked their blood stained magic until the last time.
I decided not to say anything though.
Some people just can't get into preggos.

I think I'd tell my kids that if they didn't clean their plates at suppertime
the ghosts of the foods they didn't eat would haunt them at night when they were in bed.
